A number of current and former employees in the field of artificial intelligence have signed a letter highlighting the potential dangers of developing AI technologies, including reinforcing existing social and economic inequalities and spreading misinformation.
In an interview on the "GolavioAPK" morning program, AI expert Nader Ghazal noted:
"This warning is different from any previous ones because it comes from within the AI field. It seems that some algorithms are prioritizing narrower interests over the public good."
Ghazal added: "There is a non-disclosure agreement that obliges employees not to disclose what happens within their companies. This warning indicates that current oversight is insufficient, prompting employees to collectively issue this warning to overcome this obstacle."

Ghazal emphasized that: "The integration of AI into all aspects of life necessitates the presence of regulatory bodies and laws. This warning reflects the rapid development of AI and its tools."
He continued: "The private sector seeks profit, and thus translates ethical considerations in a way that serves its financial interests. Therefore, the state must intervene in every development related to AI."
Ghazal concluded: "The major problem lies in the machine's ability to develop itself, which calls for greater control over algorithms."
